    Ya Aamir is the closest thing to Niang out there, hope the staff goes full force on him! With Lewis that is very encouraging and really like the kid! Hope the staff can get some verbals sooner than Nov.

    Ya add like Aamir Simms or Keyshawn Feazell. But honestly hear a lot of chatter staff wants to add a talented/versatile juco bigman too. So look out for offers in July when that heats up.

    Well it's still a long shot but this has to help out us with Sexton bc he had Okie St in a summer visit. So okie St got their PG, ISU still needs one. So guess stay tuned...

    So does Small have a great connection with Newmans HS, town, HS coach, AAU? Would this be something worth Small trying to go after if he requests and gets granted a release? ISU is in dire need of a SG in 2017-18

    I feel after this summer Sexton will move up to 35 in nation in rank and get that fifth star. Man hope someone on our media end can clarify this for us. Bc it sucks to see ISU go in a different route or parties lose interest bc of such the connection between Monte and him. For the record too...

    Ya would like the staff to pick up Sims very solid kid, but we have some great targets. I too also agree Perry does seem like most logical pick to be the future PG. But Sexton don't have Twitter and is defcon silent, so hard to read.

    Yep sorry I must of been ****ed up when I wrote that lol. Maybe a little tired. But ya would prefer then to get a bigman rather than gaurd first go around bc gaurds are more available in transfer market. Sorry for poor written post

    I agree take the best sit out, but I think staff needs to push hard for two this a Bigman and SG. And I think that a bigman would be better to lock in now bc great gaurds come along more I transfer season than big men do. But will leave that to the staff.

    Emmanuel Malou thread

    Lard has reached out and said he will be on Iowa states campus in later July early Aug. So looks like everything is in order. Malou though looks more and more like he won't be playing for Iowa St. That's too bad too.
