No inside info, but it seems like Perry might be the most realistic option at PG. He would be a great addition.

Ya would like the staff to pick up Sims very solid kid, but we have some great targets. I too also agree Perry does seem like most logical pick to be the future PG. But Sexton don't have Twitter and is defcon silent, so hard to read.
Just read the Twitter Scout article that says Collin Sexton said Alabama, Arizona, and Kansas are prioritizing him. Mentioned Texas, A&M , too. But no Iowa State. Whaaat?!?!? Guess our Monte connection isn't helping here after all. Sounds like the kid is really impressing in the EYBL. Is that why you said Perry might be the most "realistic" option? Cuz Sexton is already unreachable?? Grr
I feel after this summer Sexton will move up to 35 in nation in rank and get that fifth star. Man hope someone on our media end can clarify this for us. Bc it sucks to see ISU go in a different route or parties lose interest bc of such the connection between Monte and him.
For the record too I think and feel that Darius Perry isn't any slouch, but I just liked Sexton more. Sexton is more aggressive and a little more of a pure shooter. But I will be super happy to land Perry if info is true about Sexton and ISU cutting ties

Sexton had said he wanted to visit this summer. Hopefully, that's still the case. But yes, I said realistic because Sexton is getting big offers like KU. It's really hard to get the stars out of their eyes after one of the blue bloods offers. And I certainly couldn't blame any kid for thinking that way. But like I said, that's just a gut feeling. We will land a well-regarded PG. You just hope it's a Monte and not a Chris Colvin.
Was TJ Terrence Lewis' main recruiter? My son is playing at an AAU tournament this weekend and I talked with a young guy just out of college from Milwaukee who knows the family well. He said he talked with him awhile ago and he had been high on ISU.

Agree on the blue blood stars. Makes it tough for ISU, don't care what anyone else says. If he wanted to visit, you would think he would have listed us in that interview/article. Hopefully its just not to catch some good times with Monte, although can't blame him I guess.

Seriously?? He was there for a whole semester. Going to be third school in one calendar year. Is this kid ever gunna play?

Is the kid a flake? That's the 3rd school he's "left" after committing. That said, after transferring once kudos to him for being certain this time. Maybe he just falls in love too fast.
Two schools in a year. Something is off with the kid. At this point his best option is probably go JUCO so he can play next year and then transfer to a D1 program and play right away.
Havent a clue, but maybe he ends up playing closer to home to be with his son more?
Might be his best option, but Grandstaff seems like somebody who would be above playing juco.
Michigan did offer, but another PG they offered pulled the trigger faster. No doubt about MSU though.
We did. But he plays this other sport as well and he may wanna be a two sport athlete. Just speculation as I'm too lazy to find the link saying he was offered in another sport.
