Next year really important, we have one guy now getting minutes that will be here in 26. we don’t have a real 3 point threat at all right now coming back. Still have some key pieces. Curt is a huge loss, by far our best scoring threat.

So how do you find two guys to replace KG and Curt? Not easy, those guys cost too much.

Isn't the kid from Oshkosh a guard?

Gotta find depth in the guard court and more athleticism in the front court. We desperately needed a Ward type. Problem is we are looking for the same thing every other damn team needs too
We only have so much NIL money to offer.

Milan and Heisie aren’t legit shooters?

Sometimes the truth hurts, but must be said. These guys are now professional athletes getting paid very well to perform. It goes with the territory when you are making more than most of the people sitting in the stands. It's easy to say we had a good season, but like any fanbase we wanted and expected more, than a 20-2 run and shooting the ball like we did tonight for the first 35 minutes of the game.

4 straight tournament appearances. I won't take that for granted.

Advanced beyond seed line only once (2022).

Injury problem s***ed this season, but still managed to maintain a 3 seed.

A bummer that elimination game each tournament, ISU has gotten shredded, regardless of the round. It's up for debate if this was the worst, or the Pitt game. Miami we were in "all else is gravy."

You lack a fundamental understanding of NIL.

Milan needs to show his NBA level. Got be more aggressive. He needs to be a consistent 16 point a night guy

They won't be defended that poorly either.
A combination of our defense not being up to par (Gilbert out, Lipsey not himself, injured) and Miss just making almost everything.

Got to give credit to Miss. Our defense wasn't great, but they played a really great game! Hate to say that. It was tough to watch.

I wish we had more depth to draw on. In the beginning of the year, I thought we would have really good depth. Didn't turn out that way. Don't know why.

He showed more flashes of it at the end of the year but he needs to continue developing his game posting up and going to the rim. The fadeaways look cool but when you are as cold as he was you need to be able to go get some easy buckets to get going.

Bull crap, ISU and school like us with never have millions to throw at the players, so we have to go out and find diamonds in the rough, which this staff has done a great job doing. Do your really think Ol Miss is swimming in money, Beard is a hell of a coach, a slime ball, but the man can coach and has won at every place he has been. If you expect ISU to up our NIL game and start bringing in million dollar players left and right, you are going to be in for a long wait. Maybe it's time for you bedtime, as I am sure you have to go to work tomorrow. Me, I am retired, I have all the time in the world.

Can we scrap the cute off-season seal training and get our team healthy and peaking in February/March, not November?

Deeper rotations against buy games, more shooting, and for god sake take care of the basketball!
I have no complaints with that, but I will say that if you're going to ask guys to go that hard all the time, you need to go 9 deep. I think our problem was that we needed player 9 to be a guard, and that just wasn't available on this roster. Keshon getting hurt exacerbated that.

Milan improved quite a bit with his defense this year, but he still has a lot of room to grow both defensively & offensively. His lack of hustle on the missed layup on the long pass during our press was...not good. But I think a lot of players have to and will continue to improve & get stronger/more mature. Heck, Jefferson had a knee injury last year, so I would expect he'd get stronger & more explosive, too. Jackson also started the season out of shape & he should also benefit from continued S&C work. Get the right transfer(s) in & the probability of a salty team once again is very high.
