perimeter defense and speed/pressure just wasn’t good enough for us. I was worried about it with Lipsey banged up and no Gilbert. Game had to be in the high 60s or low/mid 70s for us. Injuries robbed this team

Yep. I get so sick of the pulling Ward argument. He had MIA up 3. How many times did ISU adjust to a good QB 2nd half and win only down 1 score? Give Jon Heacock some freaking credit/benefit of the doubt. ISU won, Miami didn't. Idc (and no one years from now looking back should either) that Ward did or didn't play. Cyclones won.
