How many days left on your retirement countdown? There's been a project going on at work that someone thought could be done by last July. It's still ongoing. Such a poorly planned project. We have to migrate client access to a jump server environment to add another level of security. They only have 100 licenses for the emulator software and we have over 200 clients so we keep running out of licenses and we don't even have all the client access completed. Did I mention it is such a poorly planned project?
Whomever came up with this had absolutely no idea the scope of this.

Not much outside of it seeming like a typical small town IowaI think he's looking into Glenwood. Know anything about that town?
Let that project drag then come back in as a consultant. KaChing!!
I occasionally call Mrs. Velo "Imelda".Wife wore a brand new pair of shoes yesterday. We got home yesterday and all the black coating was coming off from where her toes and feet flex as they had a 2” plus heel on them. She was mad as they were a brand name shoe. She wanted to take them back. She found shipping receipt in the box. She showed me the date on the invoice. My reply was you’ve had these for over 13 years and this is the first time you wore them? She is a shoe horder!! She took them back…..to the trash can.
If you remembered her name, she must of been alright. That would be no.
I had to work with her.If you remembered her name, she must of been alright.

Yeah, it is amazing the number of people who use something up and then try to return it. Unfortunately there are stores like WalMart and Costco who enable people like that by taking back pretty much everything.I commend her for not taking them back to the store and demanding a refund.
Comedian Rodney Carrington used to joke that Walmart will take anything back.Yeah, it is amazing the number of people who use something up and then try to return it. Unfortunately there are stores like WalMart and Costco who enable people like that by taking back pretty much everything.
Not my project, thankfully. I just get to sit on the calls and listen to everyone whine.Let that project drag then come back in as a consultant. KaChing!!
how many more days until retirement are you again? I thought you were getting close. Not my project, thankfully. I just get to sit on the calls and listen to everyone whine.
See post 485...how many more days until retirement are you again? I thought you were getting close.
Are you sure you and your wife didn't have 4 kids and pass one on to Janelle. That would be no.
Based upon the number of unopened shoe boxes in our mudroom closet, this checks out at our house. One difference, my wife would have made me try to return them without telling me they were 13 years old.Wife wore a brand new pair of shoes yesterday.
