Yeah, if you're going with BC before he put in the jheri curls.I suppose but the cigarette makes it pretty close to realistic.
I've undergone surgery on both hands, and I feel so much better now. I wish I had done it a few years earlier.
As for the timing, I had the first surgery in early December and the second one in March of the following year for insurance purposes. I was informed that the issues might return, but 10 years later, everything is still good.
Are you saying that I have a little prosecution? There you are getting naked again... didn't that little prosecution slow you down?
O no. I'm sure it was a manly burly prosecution...inwas referencing those pesky criminal chargesAre you saying that I have a little prosecution?
Well.
I never.
Yeah, awake for the procedure but certainly cant feel anything. They will mobilize your arm good, monitor you, and cover the area. I wanted to watch and they let me watch the second one, not the first hand. It was interesting. They go through your palm.I was wondering if you need it in both do you do it separately or together. How long was recovery like? My left is super bad.
Still haven't found work and wondering if needing it in both I could qualify for temp disability?
I know they numb the arm for the surgery because act of being conscious while my wrist is cut open freaks the crap out of me.

I wouldn't recommend doing both hands at once. Honestly, I was surprised that it was even an option. Since I’m left-handed, my left hand was the worst, and I had that one done first. In hindsight, I wish I had done my right hand first instead.
During the first two days, my hand was swollen and hurt quite a bit, and I couldn’t use or move it. Once the swelling started going down, the pain intensified, and it took a few more days before I started to feel better. In a couple of weeks, I was mobile enough to start using it a little. Thankfully, the timing worked out perfectly because, by the time they scheduled my physical therapy, I was already starting to use it. Obviously, they want you exercising, AFAP. Make sure to do the exercises at home that they show you. I didn’t follow the instructions carefully because I had an emergency project on the farm as a water line burst due to the cold, and the cattle needed water. That set me back, and I was just driving and helping the contractor as much as I could with one hand. Just swinging my arm around, not using the hand, made it hurt. By mid-February, I was back to normal in time for the surgery on my second hand.
When I went to my consultation with the surgeon, they told me they recommended two weeks of FMLA, but I don’t have a traditional job, so I couldn’t take FMLA leave, so I did what I could with it.
I don't know about disability, but it's certainly worth checking out. I will double down that the only regret is I didn't do it sooner.
Ick. Sorry. If it is any consolation, the people I know that have had it like the fact that they had it a month or so later.Had my appointment to test my hands. Carpal tunnel surgery needed in BOTH hands.![]()
I have no interest in watching. How long is the surgery?
Swearing and drinking kind of go hand in hand with construction crews. I worked a union job that had a keg in the super's trailer, and a liquor store on site. We got a 10% discountSome construction guy stopped at the job site today wondering about who we were and if we did jobs in the area, but he had us confused with someone else. He talked with my foreman a while and said he was looking for employees. Said that he doesn't allow swearing on his job site. Well that's why he has no employees. Or of all the trades, the only people that swear more than framers are concrete guys.
We are going to a famous cemetary tomorrow...It's not our final destination...just a 2 day stop-over. I'll keep an eye out for cemeteries, but I make no promises!![]()
We don't have 1/10 that mich grass. Too many trees.
