Bill is a liability in the bench at this point. No creativity offensively. Can’t construct a complete roster. And the decision to bench Addy as long as he did cost them big. Totally iced his second best player. Could have run up a lead in the 3rd and they didnt.

Maybe I'm just bad luck but every time I watch the women's team this year it is incredibly frustrating. They look timid, uncertain, and less aggressive than their opponent in crunch time every time.

You’re not bad luck. That’s generally what we can expect from a Bill Fennelly-coached squad. We’re a finesse team, live or die by the 3. With Audi, we’ll win games where the opponent can’t stop her and probably lose the ones where they do. We are a program that does reasonably and predictably well but is never elite. Addy Brown is the kind of player that could change this culture, but it hasn’t happened as of yet.

Can't have your 5th year point guard have 9 TOs and shoot sub 40% from the FT line and expect a win. Outside of Audi and Addy this team has very minimal offensive threat

There's no other way to put it but this team is unconscionably terrible offensively. There no excuse for them to be this poor.

Defensively you can't have a good defense with Audi...she's basically Georges Niang where you hope her scoring covers up her defensive liabilities.

Do we run anything other than trying to throw to Crooks? Good God. It works much of the time but not always. With this group we should have multiple sets to get people open. Finally ran one to brown, but to late.

Having your best player out of the flow of the game for a quarter is bizarre. Bill trying to be edgy. Meanwhile, another L. Well done. Iowa state way.

I've made this argument myself for plenty of games.

This isn't a game to make the refs your chief complaint.
