I own contributing to this problem but can they please announce this so we can stop talking about freaking Nebraska in here?!?!
Besides the North Platte tv market, what has Nebraska brought to the Big 10.

At this point, ESPN and Fox are probably using mred's scenario generator to help decide which games they each want.

Actually, this year was supposed to be easy for the Huskers. They were supposed to start out 7-0. But, it turned out that the Huskers are not as good as they were projected to be. Plus Illinois and Indiana turned out much better than projected. Then, the later games like UCLA and USC, which pre-season were thought to be tougher, actually those two schools are way down, and yet they still beat the Huskers. There is a lot of hurt and anger here in Omaha.
Nebraska's biggest problem is they are playing a true freshman qb who makes true freshman mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if Nebraska looks a lot better next year. Not top 10 good, but better. Days of dominance are over for them and actually most of the NU fans I know are just hoping to get to a bowl. They just might have the best facilities in the entire country, at least top 5 and their NIL is probably very good so they should start getting better, but it's really hard to win with a true freshman qb no matter what kind of potential he has.

Just quit screwing around and make every week a 6 day. It's headed there anyway so might as well just rip that band aid right off.

Blum and CW were asking the question about low attendance. This is definitely another factor that plays into it. For most of these games fans are given 6-12 days notice.

Can't believe the Big 12 let them have a fifth six-day option. Hopefully it came with a nice little thank-you check.
I'm sure it was for some future benefit the networks will casually forget to pay up for.

Frankly unless the checks were 6 figures for each school (they weren't) the ADs should have told them to go **** themselves.

Alas the networks win over the people buying tickets....again.
