Big 12 TV/Kick Times - Nov. 29-30

Maybe it's time to amend the contract. It's not like Fox and ESPN are giving the Big 12 "prime" slots anyway.

*Weeks 1-3 announced during the summer (same as now).
*6-day holds not available prior to Nov. 1.
*Max of four 6-day holds allowed; no exceptions.

So essentially the entire month of November becomes a six-day hold? Is that much better than status quo?

I haven't thought this through but would it be that difficult to at least slot teams into "11:00 or 2:30" and "6:00 or 7:00" type slots, then confirm at the six-day?

Somehow there just has to be a way to make this fan-friendlier.

It would be, because you'd know that at the start of the season.

The only way to pre-slot games well in advance is for one company to own 100% of the conference's TV rights (ESPN/SEC).

Will be interesting. It is likely quite a few of the students will be gone but hopefully most of the other areas will be filled. Have a feeling need to sell quite a few tickets this week though.
