Yeah. We all know. It’s been reported everywhere (including here on 3 different threads). What’s not been reported much is that these guys aren’t contributors and won’t have an impact to how good Auburn will be.
They played 20 minutes and 15 minutes in their first game…. “Not contributors” is inaccurate. I don’t care it was against Vermont and they won by 40. Iowa states “non contributors” played 4 minutes.

Anyone else a bit concerned of going from playing MV State, Kansas City & IU Indianapolis to then jumping into the deep end of the pool playing Auburn? That can be a bit of a shock to the system at first to catch up to the speed of play. Hopefully it will be nothing and we don't get down by a good margin early in the game before we catch our bearings.

It goes both ways. Auburn has no idea how TJ is going to play. They’ve played a very similar system in Houston that gives TJ a lot of tape in their strengths and weaknesses.

Defending Broome will be a challenge. I believe TJ recruited him when he was in the portal 2 years ago.

Auburn is very good, but we’re more than capable.

Not going to over react to the Houston game. I have to imagine Francis was going to be their primary defender Broome and he only played 9 minutes after not playing in the opener. Also had 4 of their top 6 with 4 or 5 fouls in the game. So foul trouble and down top post defender is a bad recipe and they still nearly won.

Losing Shead is just huge. He was their goto guy in nearly every tight moment. They'll still be a handful, but I figured they were going to be vulnerable early due to that.

It’s wild that they were able to beat Houston with all the plane fight issues going on, especially with it spilling into public view. For sure thought that would be a distraction

Like the Kansas City coach said last night, you know the defensive pressure is coming, but you can't simulate it in practice.

Any ideas for ISU - Utah game watch next Saturday afternoon?

2018 there was an awesome Cyclones contingent at Spankys Riptide but place was lost to the fires :/

This happened to Baylor vs Gonzaga this year. Gonzaga destroyed them...but they seemed to have got their bearings together since then.

Testifying
Watched Ohio State-Indiana football game yesterday with Matt Norlander's (CBS) brother and father. They came out from Connecticut to watch the games but aren't die hard UConn fans. Dad went to Florida.

Nice family, they definitely know their ISU history, former coaches, former players.

Can't find the general bball thread but Pav is on ESPN2 right now at Myrtle Beach.

He's played a lot and is a much better fit for size/speed etc. for this Ohio team.
