He was limping pretty bad but it looked like he took a tough shot to the quadCW stated he is hurt. Never came back in the game after scoring the 2nd TD. Unknown what is going on.

The spike didn't seem like a good decision when a touchdown was needed but got the flag when we needed it so it worked out.I have no problem with the spike. Needed to gather the team and we had 3 plays to get the 1st down.
Just would like to remind everyone here that most felt nearly hopeless at this point in the Iowa game.
Ha fair enough! Also saying Mouse got owned is pretty interesting for a team that scored 38 points and put up 520 yards.
TL;DR if we didn't have doomers who would we laugh at?I personally enjoy reading emotional reactionary meltdowns in the game thread, it's entertaining and that's what I'm here for.
For some fans, venting in the moment about pissing the game/season/program down our collective leg is a form of entertainment for them. Others enjoy putting their rose-colored glasses on and scolding those fans with condescending I-knew-we-would-win-all-along diatribes. To each their own I say. The forums would be boring if it was just an endless flood of positivity and optimism.
People should go re-read pages 87-92. Pretty entertaining (and embarrassing), including someone calling for Heacock to be fired, someone saying we will be playing Memphis in the Liberty Bowl, a lot of Rocco blame, hating on Mouse and Campbell, and much more.
You’d think some people would learn to let the team play the entire game before melting down but apparently not.
I had the exact same observation on the first pick 6. I understand the desire to go uptempo after the big running gain, but a few more seconds to collect himself may have helped his decision making.Observations
1. Rocco running was effective but it is not sustainable. He was hit too much. The first pick six he was still a little dazed from the hit at the end of his run.
2. Sama ran hard and was much better.
3. For once I didn't hear any negative comments from the crowd about coaches/players even when things looked bleak.
4. We really need the bye top hopefully heal.
5. Truly amazing effort by the team.
A lot of fans think being negative makes them sound smartSomeone in my section was saying (after it was 28-14) that we'd lose 56-14.
Teams have ****** games. Teams lose games they shouldn't. Life happens. But for anyone---even in the heat of the moment---to say that Heacock should be fired or to talk any **** about Campbell or Mouser is a complete moron.

The booth view and a bit longer of a call if anyone was interested!
7-0, then tied their next game (Kansas State), then lost Big 6 championship game to OK. Ending record, 7-1-1.No, the 1938 team also went 7-0, but lost their next game.
He came in for the pitch play in the 3rd qtr stopped at the 1 yard line. So hopefully just dinged up, and more precationary. He was limping pretty bad but it looked like he took a tough shot to the quad
