Nice win! I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to watch it as I am camping in West Virginia (of all places). But as fate would have it, our neighbors had it on an inflatable screen and were hosting a WVU watch party. They are as pessimistic of a fanbase as ours.

Best win of the year, all the pressure was on ISU going into a night game on the road against a team that hit its stride last week, and after the first quarter we stoned their offense and kept doing what we have all year. No turnovers, hitting 3rd down passes and it was nice to see Becht running a few times to pick up huge first downs.

That would be Barnes and Goodwin.

One was behind Bacon, Sadowsky, Lovett (and Brezina), the other behind McLaughlin, Brezina, Ellis and Klosterman. Probably with Willich in there somewhere. Maybe Imming.

So…more like fifth team.

What was the deal with the announcers basically saying at the end of the game that WV got jobbed all night by the officials... or they probably would have won. That was basically the gist of what they said. It was some of the worst announcing I've ever heard.

It was ridiculous. The game is in hand and they didn’t have a thing to say about us. You would’ve never known the 11th ranked, 6-0 team was even playing a game. All they could do was talk about WVU at the end. No talk about us, the turnovers, the ball movement or clean game we played. All they had was excuses for WVU. Commentators sucked tonight.
