I don’t care where this is. This is the new big dog of the pre-con. Teams are backing out of Maui for this.
It has nothing to do with location. You should be excited because Iowa State gets $1 million in NIL for just participating. The winner gets an additional million
Looks like there is proposed NCAA legislation on that right now
"(c) Participation is limited, by conference, to one team per conference and, by institution, to not more than once in the same event in any four-year period, except that two teams from the same conference may participate in the same three-contest (eight-team) event, provided the two teams are on opposite sides of the bracket and the same conference is not represented by two teams more than once in the same event in a four-year period. Only one conference may have two teams participate in the same threecontest (eight-team) event annually"
Because I still find that the concept of a sporting even in Vegas gas lost the luster on a general sports world scope.
