married someone that was close to the top of the food chain at KCCI and so she was out.

Not sure she went anywhere - a Google search on her turns up nothing other than articles about her time at KCCI (as well as a few threads from this site)

I remember watching her do a sportscast once and hearing her say "Ben Rethlisburger" 4 TIMES. She was terrible.

I bet she got paid quite well to not say anything. There were a lot of rumors about what she was like to work with and she was kind of losing it as a sports anchor.
