MrsWx's grandfather has been placed in hopsice, we don't think he will make it through the weekend. Looked up our bereavement policy and was honestly not expecting to get anytime off for a grandfather in-law but I do. Stupidly IMO it is the same amount of time (3 days) as any other relative including spouse, child, parent.
I'm sorry for your wife and yourself.

If you haven't had a relative that's been through hospice before, they really are terrific at keeping things comfortable for the person and the family.

Went to do the garage shuffle of cars, snowblowers, grass chopper. And Boxster battery was dead as a doornail. Battery tender died. Glad I cracked the hood. Battery is in the "frunk" and release is electronic.

We’re at the Charlie Berens show at Stephens tonight, and Jamie Pollard is in the loge next to us. Just thought I’d let you know of this interesting time when Athletics does in fact appear to be supporting the arts at Iowa State.

Wearing jeans, t-shirt and jacket tonight. Hasn’t mentioned my parents yet. No Kwik Star mention, but there was a story about a vehicle (pickup) with Indiana license plates and three bumper stickers.
This was the final slide before intermission. Audience was roaring and he could hardly finish reading it.

Not exactly sure.
Ndubs has a doppleganger from Spencer. I was at a track meet last night and saw this guy walking towards me and I almost called out to him but wondered why he would be there. I double checked and thought maybe the hair was just a little shorter than the typical Ndub doo, so I just kept looking that way figuring he would say hi if it was him but he just walked by and hung out with a few Spencer folks.

Neighbor made a raised garden. I’m actually building one for my wife also. They placed theirs just north of a big tree. Large amounts of shade are good for plants, right?

Hope it's not a walnut tree, the acid that drips from them will kill plants especially tomatoes.

Do tool companies come with a new tool and then ask engineers to design something that requires you to buy that tool?

Just planted my garden on my balcony this morning. I am most excited for the Canola, bee feed flowers, and sunflowers that I planted.

We'll see if it survives the 30-ish degree temperatures next weekend

If you can’t bring them inside, push them against the wall and cover with a sheet. Tuck in around the back and under the pots/container to keep it from gaping open if there’s any wind. Don’t uncover too early in the day. Make sure they’re watered.

Hoosiers is on. I caught it last week too.

One favorite aspect that I never really picked up on growing up is how in the championship game, the opponent isn't some 'bad guy' nemesis with a bunch of jackbags type of gimmick like other movies.

They're a really good team and both teams just play the game well as Hickory pulls it off.
