I'm not sure.

Are cargo shorts a middle-aged white guy thing now? Since the other symbol of that was clunky white tennis shoes and that is what the kids are wearing these days, I'm not sure that I can accurately rate this based upon the cargo shorts scale. Maybe change the scale to something more timeless like "the girls clothes are too revealing" or "modern music is terrible".
Lew doesn't wear shorts, but he has taken to wearing cargo pants when we fly so that he can put his phone and his wallet someplace other than his butt pockets.

He could wear something like this. Commonly referred to as purse pants.

Went back and figured out how to withhold some extra for the state as well so I updated an addition $25 per check. Hopefully that prevents me from having to pay into the state next year

We did that, too. If nothing else, we should be really close next year.
One school reached out about a course at the very end of the year. That's going to be some mix of unheld taxes and a tax return for us.

We lose a child tax credit. Why don’t they at least go through 17?

Also, since he doesn't wear a shirt, does he often get compared to Mickey Mouse?
No, because he wears a shirt in public. Maybe not always when driving any distance, tho. And he wears shirts outdoors more than he did before because he's now having issues with skin cancer (already had MOHS surgery on the bridge of his nose, and multiple spots removed from his arms & back).
But it's a double-edged sword, because he's more uncomfortable than ever wearing them. His skin on his left arm & side, and the left side of his neck are still hypersensitive much of the time due to his stroke, so the fabric moving over his skin can get really uncomfortable at times. :(

I feel for him. I had Mohs surgery on the bridge of my nose. That was not fun. Luckily for me, they only went back to grab more one time.

As I was growing up, my mom wore baby oil instead of sun block (which wasn't unusual). I've been diligent about sunblock for 25 years but the damage was done earlier and I'm having my 4th spot removed next month.

Same hear. But my haircut is done pretty quickly. My daughters now tell me that I part my hair down the middle just like I did in high school except that now the part is just really big.
Um, did your daughters know you in high school?

Bike World in Ames.

Just yesterday daughter was having a recurring problem (a thunk!) that I was trying to diagnose over the phone. We thought we might have it down to a bad pedal. She is a poor college student so she didn't want to go to a bike shop, but they were riding by Bike World so she decided to stop. They diagnosed the problem and sold her pedals, mounted them and just charged her for parts all while she petted their shop dog and shot the **** with Steve. I told her next time she is in there to tell Steve that she is the daughter of one of the guys that bring the drink machine by his mobile shop every day on RAGBRAI.

Yeah, I know that is a long way to go.

I have been going to Maple Grove Cycling, but they are probably getting their spring rush so probably backed up too. Last year I took in a couple of bikes early spring. When I picked them up a few days later he said I got in just in time because the wait was over 2 weeks then.

How do you like the hydralic brakes? I have never been brave enough to make the plunge to hydralic brakes or "fly by wire" shifting.

It wouldn't hurt to give MGC a call and see if they are crushed yet. It is a ways but wouldn't be too bad of a drive for you since they are right off of 94 at Weaver Lake Rd.

I have the hydraulics on the Specialized hybrid and love them. Traditional brakes on the roadie. Downside is I can fix/maintain the traditional brakes and cannot for the hydraulics.

I was just thinking about painters pants the other day, and perhaps it was time for them to come back in style. What with all the baggy pants girls are wearing, that's a lot of fabric being wasted. At least there are many useful pockets and loops on painters pants.

I'd trust Velo more than me but we've generally had good luck with our infrequent bike problems at Trailhead. There is a location in Plymouth so it shouldn't be too far for you and it's right next to Luce Line Brewery so there's that.
