Kansas State fans are madder than I have ever seen

I can honestly say I have never really hated K-State until Jerome Tang et al, at Iowa State on 1-24-24.

Others can undoubtedly cite their previous unpleasant KSU experiences. Tang and the kstate slander and lies, did it for me.

How have you never hated KState given their online fans? I get every fan base has bad fans, including us, but they take it to another level. I don’t think I’ve laughed harder after the years they called Iowa State flood Aggie when Ames flooded just for Manhattan to flood even worse years later.

Not everyone sees their online fans as much as some do. I rarely see their stuff in my feeds unless someone retweets it in there. I would imagine most are similar.

I get the sense he was ‘talked to’ either by his AD or the conference.
Not sure. I watched the post game interview with SVP on SportsCenter and he was about as giddy and delusional sounding as ever. I get certain Steve Prohm vibes in a subtle way. They aren't exactly identical or anything, but they give a similar vibe.

Eh, Prohm wasn't a good coach and he was kind of a goober, but I at least believe he was coming from a genuine place. I think Tang is a used car salesman.

They both seem gooberish to me, and claim to be men of great faith. Steve was also known to get weird with fans and opposing teams players from time to time. As far as good coach, both guys enjoyed some success with their predecessors recruits. Time will tell if Tang can do it with his own guys or not, but until tonight that answer was trending in the wrong direction for Tang.

They were absolutely going to rush the court until one of the assistants told them not to. I wouldn't have blamed them one bit if they had. That was a good win for them. The kids don't get a lot of opportunities to do that and should have fun.

Come back from a double digit deficit to beat your ranked rival in OT? I don't think anyone should look askance at rushing the court in that situation.
