I would really like to know the truth.
Keeping the reason behind your outrage quiet kind of discredits you.
- If racial slurs were involved, then that's trash behavior and the fans should be banned from future games. But why not just say that's what happened? At least let the overwhelming majority of Cyclone Nation shame them into better behavior or getting lost.
- If objects were thrown at the KSU bench, that's also trash behavior and the fans should be banned or somehow disciplined. But why not just say that's what happened?
- If ISU fans were being "mean," well, you might want to toughen up buttercup. That's life on the road in sports. And I know why you wouldn't say that's what happened -- you'd get laughed at.
- If KSU's staff thought ISU managers were trying to spy on their huddle, then that's just ridiculous. And I know why you wouldn't say this is what happened, too. You'd become the new primary laughing stock of the sports landscape, replacing Iowa football's offense.
Now hearing something thrown at the bench?
Did you suggest a prisoner exchange?reading through the ksu forums now. The amount of times they quote @ZRF is ******* incredible!
That makes a ton of sense actually.reading through the ksu forums now. The amount of times they quote @ZRF is ******* incredible!
There's no reason whatsoever to believe that 1 or 2 happenedI would really like to know the truth.

This specific instance was hilarious, but I could tell from the upper deck this guy was being an a**hole most of the game. Sure, The K-State staff was putting on a clownshow but standing in the aisle 3 rows up and furiously yelling at refs and coaches for everyone to see crosses the classless line. And I generally hate the classless/sportsmanship argument.Did anyone post this yet?

I disagree with ZRF just as much as the next guy, but have you met a KSU fan? thats not an upgrade for usDid you suggest a prisoner exchange?![]()
Why? His takes are usually wrong.
Hell the towns are even similar. I think ISU fans kind of **** on Manhattan and KSU fans **** on Ames.Of course we're not all farmers.
The vast majority of people at Iowa State games grew up and live in Iowa. They probably have a close connection to some small town even if they didn't grow up in one. The same thing applies at K State but just exchange "Iowa" for "Kansas". There is absolutely a high level of shared culture between Midwestern ag schools.
If you can't see how there are major cultural overlaps between the two, you're just being obtuse. Our fanbases might be more like each other than we are like our in-state brethren.
Lost is the fact we used to have these long conversations about butt hurt after we LOSSED a game. Nice to have them after winning and ugly one!
So Surly is even more Surly?
He might be bias, but either way, it's a mute point. The lose/loose struggle has found a new challenger.
This is exactly what I was thinking too. You can’t throw multiple tantrums on national television, including in the handshake line, and then act like nothing happened. The K-State players acted more mature than the head coach last night.
Toss Stillwater/OSU into the mix, and you have 3 remarkably similar college towns, universities, and fanbases.Hell the towns are even similar. I think ISU fans kind of **** on Manhattan and KSU fans **** on Ames.
I've had a good time any time I've been to Manhattan.
This physically pained me. Bravo. He might be bias, but either way, it's a mute point.
I’m not usually a uniform nut, but I would be mad if I had to watch those very often. Not sure if it was my TV or my cataracts but had a hard time distinguishing the numbers with purple on purple.
