This team alternates between playing beautiful ball and some of the ugliest ball I've seen. And it's not all on the freshmen either.
Crooks has to understand when its'not her night and look to kick. She has a lot of tools.

She's close to the hoop, yes, but her shots are well contested. She needs to get to her fadeaway in the lane or kick it out. The drop step to the base line is not there tonight.
Agree. Problem is I like the half court offense better with Jackson in. Ball sticks too much when Emily is in.. But hey, that's nothing new for a BF coached team.

Belanger is having a great game but Emily is the MVP. Without her, Instead of 16 TOs we would have 25 and this would be a tied game.
I'm OK with a quick call if it's to protect the players in a mass scramble. Which I think several have been tonight.
I also think she gets a little too far under the basket sometimes.
Totally agree that the height of KU has affected her tonight, as Crooks really isn't that tall as a C at 6'3". She's gonna have some of these issues with other teams with more length/height.
