Something is definitely wrong with this team but I can’t figure out what it might be. Lot of guys that haven’t played together, is it Ward out, or are we just not all that talented?

No chemistry. Nobody who can score in the paint. No guards who can shoot. No basketball IQ outside of Tamin. Does that cover it?

But man.....I really was hoping for a more solid offensive team this year. Obviously they'll continue to get better.

It’s really shocking to see how aimless everyone looks in the half court. Half the time it looks like they have no idea what they’re supposed to be doing so they just stand flat footed on the 3 point line

Some of us, including me, had too high of an opinion of our offense after playing a few cupcakes. Outside of Milan and Tamin’s improvement, we don’t have much.

I have seen enough to understand what the scouting report is on us. We can correct it but I have tempered my expectation to NIT/bubble team with the 7th grade offense and turnovers I am seeing.
Omaha went from a one or two and done to limited minutes has reality checked me also.

We also need to design a couple plays that have more than the first pass mapped out. I heard the assistant on the pre-game before VT say teams can't scout them well becuase they don't have set motion after the first pass or something like that. You are not going to get CJ, Pav or Mom set shots in that kind of offense. Need a few double screens or something.

When we were bad offensively the last two seasons, we were dynamite on defense. Now we have neither.

This team needs a really athletic player. Like a 6'8 dude who can play wing and post and can score from anywhere. If only we had that player on the roster.
