It’s being nit picky but the Cyclones are way to predictable after a running back makes a good run. It’s a high percentage bet that they go back to the same guy on the next play. Been that way since Campbell has been the coach. If I can see it, you can bet the other teams know the tendencies.

this is why ISU has struggled with these close games over the past couple years. have to make those plays. that was a play you have to make. should be 17-0 and planting the seed of doubt in Baylors head.

Why do they stop the game so often, for com break but then not actually have commercials just the blank espn+ page?

I mean if they dont have commercials to fill the break do we really need a break? Does it always have to be 3+ Mins? If there is no actual commercial? If they have not sold commercials for all breaks why have them, why have them so long etc.

Seems to me they could have half as many breaks or breaks that are half as long. I know watching in the stadium all these breaks and always 3+ mins kill the atmosphere and momentum. I get it that those commercials pay the bills, but what is the point if they go to blank page with no commercials sold in the spot.

My guess is that they aren't blank on all feeds.

Commercial breaks usually have a mix of ads sold by the network and ads sold by the distributor (cable\sat\etc). While most ESPN+ is directly through the app, it is also carried by Directv for business (and possibly some others) who likely sell ad space during those blank spots.

That miss keeps Baylor in the game. Can’t happen at this level, several today.

Yeah, you are probably right, Hulu doesnt fill those spaces. Seems like they have about double the breaks than they actually need/use. But you are probably right, some feeds probably fill them, or at least more of them.
