In addition to what others have said, if Bob's not an alcoholic, why is he offering to go to rehab? That just makes things even worse, because he shows he isn't taking this seriously and is just saying things to save his job.

I imagine Huggins did offer to go to rehab and I think he probably has a problem with alcohol. But that statement definitely doesn't help him like his daughter thinks it does

And to save a job he retired from. That would be a new one.

Pretty much. Weed and shrooms are a lot better for you than alcohol. Just speaking personally, I feel a hell of a lot better when I wake up when I was stoned the night before than I do when I was drunk the night before.
Agreed. Unfortunately I have FAR less fun. Weed makes me less social, and I’m a very social person. Alcohol amplifies that, but it also makes me sleep like **** after 4 drinks.

The secret, IMO, isn’t to quit drinking altogether, but just limiting the big drinking events to a reduced frequency. Blowing it out once a month probably won’t do much long term damage.

I think a lot of these celebrities that quit drinking and start getting stoned all the time were getting ****** up 4-5 times a week (or maybe more). They’re still ****** up all the time, they’re just doing less damage to their body in the process.

His daughter forgot he was drunk as a skunk when the coppers copped him.

I think the directional Missouri coach get the the job Mccollum. He's won a bunch of national championships and knows the athletic director Ren Baker from past days there in Missouri where he was too. Sort a like Kansas State's football coach getting that one. Beeline has won their before so don't forget his last stay as a candidate. Andy Kennedy might get it too. He's not a tool but knows Huggs from Cincinnati. Frank Martin as well could go there. He's Huggs best buddie.

Interestingly, Ron White quit drinking and is now kind of a hippy

Thanks for this. I knew about Jeff Foxworthy, Larry The Cable Guy, even Bill Engvall, etc. So now I know about Ron White! I hadn't heard of him before. Funny.

So atleast he realized he can't keep drinking. Good for him there.

The only coaches who have been offered the job so far, Roy Williams and Jay Wright, said no.

You have to at least try....

Bob Huggins could not have been far from retirement anyway, did WVU have someone in the program that was viewed as the guy who might take over when he did?

2 names flown to appease the fan base? Soon will hear rumors what the administration and AD want to target. Good luck Nolaeer. Guess the way your luck has been lately it can’t get any worse for a basketball fan.

They could hit up John Wooden...

Seriously, good luck with your search. I just hope you don't find too good of one! :)

I want WVU to be competitive. A strong WVU is good for the conference.

SEC of basketball, right? Top-to-bottom high-quality teams that make a good showing in March.

I always enjoyed Morgantown, too, and their fans are very nice to guests.

Not buyin it. He is a ♠. Dtr. in full denial.
@jcisuclones. I don't usually respond after someone dislikes or disagrees with me, but I will here. Care to respond as to why you disagree? I feel Huggins has an alcohol problem and called him a spade. A spade is a spade. I feel that his dtr. is also in denial, although supporting her father is admirable.
