Yeah I'm so ready for the COVID extra year to not be a thing
Perry Ellis and JorBo disagree.
Haha! Yeah, well he was definitely excused, because of the War. I think.Well, there was the 2 years Perry missed because of the war...WW2. ;-)

If this is correct, I would love this. Curtis Jones is an absolute flame thrower. 37% for the volume of shots he takes from 3 is great. Can create his own shot. All 3 of these guys improve our offense so much vs the last couple seasons
Apparently not in TJ’ system
Fish is nowhere near Melvin Ejim. Let’s not get crazy
It has been heavily implied that he is the third guy (at the very least, he seems to be the one the staff is zeroed in on for that last spot).Any word on this fellow, Curtis?
I was kind of thinking maybe we need another pwr fwd or center, yet they (the good ones) do not grow on trees. What we do need is another lengthy wing/guard player, who can shoot and get his own shot. Yes, C. Jones would be very nice. Is he leaning ISU?
WW I....correct?Haha! Yeah, well he was definitely excused, because of the War. I think.![]()
There was a rumor upthread that he was visiting this week and likely to commit, but nothing official that I've seen. It does seem like a great fit - and he's a Twin Cities guy who would be very familiar with the coaching staff.Any word on this fellow, Curtis?

Correct! That is the definition, the War.WW I....correct?
Curtis Jones. He’ll be on a visit this week and he’ll be committed to us by this time next week
Thx for the info. I guess we will all patiently wait. Or try to.There was a rumor upthread that he was visiting this week and likely to commit, but nothing official that I've seen. It does seem like a great fit - and he's a Twin Cities guy who would be very familiar with the coaching staff.
I don’t necessarily disagree, but Kayden definitely can shoot it a little. Here’s a short clip with recent highlights:
You don't want to keep the leading rebounder for 22-23 on the bench for very long. He played well enough this year to deserve a lot of time and I expect nothing but improvement.Tamin Lipsey won’t be outside the top 5 in minutes.
Lipsey is currently the best talent on the team. You don't want to keep the leading rebounder for 22-23 on the bench for very long. He played well enough this year to deserve a lot of time and I expect nothing but improvement.
I'll disagree. Sorry, if you can't shoot as a guard in the college game that's a problemLipsey is currently the best talent on the team.
I suppose technically Omaha, Milian, and Jelani aren’t on the listed on the roster yet…Lipsey is currently the best talent on the team.
On campus right now? Probably?Lipsey is currently the best talent on the team.
Both played the post position and were dominant. The freshman will play 30 mpg next year and be one of the best players in the country. Having a true post player, regardless of height, who can defend, rebound, pass, and score is still a huge factor in success.Uconns starting center was 6'9.
I know they had the 7' ft off the bench but he only averaged 13 mins a game
That's really an irrelevant statement. Seven new players and no guarantee he even starts over Williams.Lipsey is currently the best talent on the team.
He is an excellent talent, and I wouldn't trade him for another point guard given his upside and the fact that we almost certainly have him for a least a couple more years, but some of the incoming guys are almost certainly better overall talents than him right now.Lipsey is currently the best talent on the team.
I’d be pretty surprised if Williams is good to go (full go) before mid DecemberThat's really an irrelevant statement. Seven new players and no guarantee he even starts over Williams.
