People hatin on band geeks. Sheesh. What's the world coming to? I guess I'll have to go start a thread about our nonexistant DC, shamwows, the death of hilton magic, or airplanes on treamills. :biggrin:

While speaking of things band related-you know I always thought a short indoor show for bball halftimes would be cool. Like Blast or something. Get twenty players with good instrumentation, write some simple drill and play a rockin song the band usually plays and pretty much knows by heart anyways....be pretty cool and rock some front row donors faces off. :yes:

My old high school used to do this with the drumline... Sometimes they would shut off the lights and turn on blacklights and it was really sweet...

Well it's not bad but it's it's deffinatley a southern style band ie. dance instead of march.

I'm not a big fan of watching the bands I'll admit. However I don't look down on the people that are in the bands. I have a friend who was in the band at UW-Madison from 98-01. Needless to say he got to go to several pretty cool games, Rose Bowl, Final Four, all that stuff. I think it's pretty cool.
