So this is the same issue as last year, and we will see this a lot...if you can't score, you have to win the rebound and free throw battle...we are almost always going to lose the free throw battle...so if we don't rebound we got no chance

Offensively we basically are what we are.

Defensively we were horrific all half.
Defensively, we were pretty solid. However, we lacked in controlling the rebound to end the possession, so they got multiple attempts every damn possession. They're only shooting 34.5%, but if you get 2-3 cracks at it, that average will hold up.

A few things

UConn is really, really good. Better than North Carolina. Way better defensively.

Every weird bounce went straight to UConn. Just one of those games.

We need to turn them over to get our offense.

I really like what I'm seeing out of Lipsey. Legit tough to keep out of the lane off the dribble.

All in all, it feels like we should be down 20. Credit to the team that they're not. Foul trouble is going to haunt us in this one, and I have a feeling we are going to see some strange lineup combinations by the time this is through.
