Also never helps again this early in a season about head coach is a prime candidate for an early opening next state over.

It'd be a raise likely but he'd be going from a top 15 program to a bottom 15 FBS program. There would be a rebuild involved.

I don't know about his moral character but he also has a job where they can do just about anything on earth in terms of criminal activity and face no real consequences. Some programs have won that way over the years.
