was that with Vaughn's handler?Except AJ's handler got a job at ISU. Also, I don't believe AJ's handler ever pistol-whipped anybody in a park.
Sconnie would have made their 10th Sweet 16 in the last 20 years if they didn't play us. 10th.who cares if we have a player that makes it "fun" for you.
i want a player that can play defense and put up 12-18 points.
What makes him have a better chance next season?his didn't make sense to me, either.
he's probably well aware he's going over seas to play and has accepted that and that's totally fine. He'll get hooked up with a summer league team, too. or should anyway.
with AJ it was always, "NBA, NBA, NBA" or at least that was the vibe i was getting. i just dont see him having any shot this year. now, he could take the matt thomas route for sure. and thats fine too.

Their system is not fun to watch. BUT THEY WIN.
Maybe he also didn't want to take a medical risk in college. What makes him have a better chance next season?
And personally, I don't think he was ever thinking it's NBA or college during the process. He's smart enough to see that he didn't even have a combine invite. I think it's been G league or college for awhile now. He just decided he'd rather develop in the g league rather than college.
I can agree with you. What makes him have a better chance next season?

Yeah, Green was the only reason I was still checking this site. He's added a couple of nice pieces but the 2 Bonnie's didn't even lead their team to the tourney last year and we essentially lost our 4 best offensive players from last year. You need a break
Just disappointed and feel like I've been scammed. All the experts on this board seemed 99% sure he was coming here.
Of the options, going to play in the G-league in front of tens of fans who got free corporate tickets was the least likely scenario in my mind.
The Baylor game was so much fun and it was 100% competitive from the beginning what are you talking about? LolOk then, what games did you go to that reminded you of the Hoiberg years when nobody was winning in Ames?
Kansas, Baylor, TCU, OSU weren't really competitive from the beginning.
The K-State was a total choke job, Tech was a middle of the week game during winter break. So I guess the West Virginai and Texas games were fun? That leaves Oklahoma who I think we blew out? So I guess 33% of the games were like the Hoiberg home games.

In November I can guarantee you that you'll be talking up both Holmes and Osunniyi after you see them play their first few games.Yeah, Green was the only reason I was still checking this site. I guess we'll find out in November.
That's certainly a risk with college. It's also a risk that he's just not as good in the Big 12. Maybe his numbers drop, or maybe the system TJ and his dad run doesn't fit his style, and scouts then have more questions about him.Maybe he also didn't want to take a medical risk in college.
It must've really caught them off guard. They didn't have anything ready for if he didn't commit apparently. This site has been really quiet on this so far.
Not one story yet by CW, Stanz, etc.
Sounds good, I'm out until November, have a good summer guys.In November I can guarantee you that you'll be talking up both Holmes and Osunniyi after you see them play their first few games.
No one was mislead although lots feel that way. Had he not worked out for the Bucks and Pacers earlier this week he would be committed. Those workouts and meetings went extremely well and yesterday he talked with both and I guess the calls went well enough that it swayed him to stay in the draft. Hopefully they weren't blowing smoke up his ass and he gets what he's looking for. Then he and those that know him mislead everyone up until 2 days before he commits to ISU after 2 months..
It was always Two Way guarantee deal or college.
That's how they get youYou felt scammed on a board you don't pay for?
It was a done deal before Monday and/or Tuesday when he had his most recent NBA workouts. Were they pushing on premium that ISU was the deal?
