Agree. It felt like Wiscy was ready to go on a 10-0 run. That said the boys had to execute with or without catching a break. No one from Wiscy was able to go full Hogue like after Georges’s injury so I give zero craps. It’s a Cyclone win in the record books.

An injury nobody talks about is Chris Babbs against Ohio State. We win that game if he is in the second half

That would seem to be a decent match up for ISU. Confident they can make Miami score less, and they won't lock ISU down defensively.

Not sure if its a good matchup or not, but at this point a 10 seed is the best you can hope for. ISU is probably the 14th-15th best team left in the field and is more/less in a pickem game to go to the Elite 8.

There's been several of ISU's wins where if I'm a coach, I'm secretly thinking 'No idea how we won, just get off the court and on the bus before they call us back' but that's kind of the point; playing ISU can be a hornet's nest and if they come out on top, they don't need to apologize for it.

This makes up for losing to Ohio St and the inside the arc charge, probably the greatest win in Cyclone basketball history not necessarily going to Sweet 16, but beating Wisconsin on their home court(effectively) to do it, unbelievable, and Walters and Heft were aghast by how bad the officiating was, so we overcome that too, thank goodness Wisconsin shot miserably from 3 but TJ said their shots weren't in rhythm.

Fizer, Tinsley, and Co. boatracing UCLA in the Sweet 16 after hearing all week that UCLA was the hottest team in the country...
