I was wondering if I was seeing things. This makes up for losing to Ohio St and the inside the arc charge, probably the greatest win in Cyclone basketball history not necessarily going to Sweet 16, but beating Wisconsin on their home court(effectively) to do it, unbelievable, and Walters and Heft were aghast by how bad the officiating was, so we overcome that too, thank goodness Wisconsin shot miserably from 3 but TJ said their shots weren't in rhythm.
So we won vs 7The game turned on that injury. Even as a die hard Cyclone I could see that.
They kept having this 'ISU finding out the B1G style of play' slant for the B1G's physicality...like at least take some time to watch games and see that WI's 'physicality' is just another game.
Aside from Michigan B1G is soft.Buddy of mine is a Bucky fan and texted his congrats. He said they hadn't seen anything near this level of intensity on the defensive end of the floor..not even close.
So we beat the B10 conference and Tournament champs. Does that make us kings of the B10?
Aside from Michigan B1G is soft.
The dad jokes are strong in this one.Hurricanes vs Cyclones in the Windy City
You see the foul count at that point? Zebras could have made it happen. With our D this game I think the only 10-0 run would have been due to the officials.
That would seem to be a decent match up for ISU. Confident they can make Miami score less, and they won't lock ISU down defensively.Quick take on Miami:
At first blush, Miami looks like a small, quick, efficient offense with not a whole lot of defense or rebounding.
- Per KenPom.com: 18th in adjusted offense, 141 in adjusted defense
- 30th in effective FG% at 54%
- 6th in fewest turnovers/possession
- 12th in assist to turnover ratio
- Starting backcourt (5'11", 6'3", 6'5") scored 56 of their 79 tonight against Auburn; starting, 5-11 PG nearly had triple double tonight: 15 pts/9 boards/8 assists and only 2 turnovers
