We had two of the mini van freezers. Feet off the ground digging to the bottom of those things.

I remember being concerned that the ice crystals would keep growing and shrink the available space. As a kid it seemed like a solid foot of ice, but it was probably an inch or something.

The frost buildup and thinking "I've moved this same frozen pack of chicken gizzards and liver 104 times. I just want a orange cream pushup."

I don't remember what those orange cream things were called, but they were NOT on my list of good stuff from Schwans. I don't know why I kept eating them.

I studied brand identity at ISU and did some work in the area but my career has led me away from it.

I'm not a fan or customer of Wal-Mart or Microsoft but when I look back at their previous visual identity it blows my mind how much they improved.

It's tough to avoid the temptation of going with right now, I especially love looking up how 90% of companies in the 90s seemed to put an oval swoosh shape around their brand. Some brands you wouldn't even remember doing it had an oval swoosh logo.

Trying to think of a name change rebrand (good or bad) is tougher off the top of my head. I'm guessing the point of the name change is they actually want to forget the old brand.
Pibb extra used to be mr. Pibb. Not sure what the change accomplished.

Yikes.
When I was a kid we had it delivered. At the time I feel like the ice cream was made by Wells? Is that true.
I know the pizzas are Red Baron.
Wells used to make some of the ice cream novelties. Mainly ice cream bars and popsicle items. Schwan's made and owned the Red Baron and Tony's pizza lines.

Not too exited about the Yelloh! name as the color of their trucks was actually called Inca Gold.

If thats for real its a TERRIBLE idea.
Your brand relies on people that use Schwans or have positive memories of Schwans (orange push ups ftw). You are willing to just throw that out? Bad and dumb own goal.

About as good of an idea as HyVee demolishing their cafe eating area for 'full-service' Market Grilles. Gonna push out the same loyal group and have the same outcome

Yeah, don't see the old timers hanging out at Walburgers for breakfast and coffee.

We always bought from them when I was growing up. I will never understand how these guys stay in business all these years. I don't know what their prices are, but there can't be that many people willing to pay for frozen food off a truck anymore. I still see their trucks around every now and then, though.
