Sadly, Gallagher Arena is a funeral home until the last 5 minutes of regulation. Hilton would never be like that.
They have to hate those bright lights on the bright orange seats at the top of the arena. They might as well have a flashing neon sign that says, "Our attendance blows."

Gabe's mechanics are wildly different shot to shot, pay attention to the differing arc he puts on his shot and you'll see there's not a lot of consistency. Now, I do think he'll have a couple more "on" games which really raises the ceiling for this team, but I'm not convinced it's a head thing so much as a form thing.

You do have a point about the missed bunnies, though.

Wildly inconsistent, but some of his shots when he drove the ball were nice. Including the leadoff bucket in OT.

Yea production was bad. More than a couple times there was play on the court and the camera selection was a coach on the sideline or crowd picture.

I think not having the announcers at the game is a Covid deal. At least it better be. FOX has found a way to have announcers at Big10 games. If that is because Big10 game announcers can drive vs. fly to games. Then OK.

But seems if fans can be in the stands, shouldn't be an issue for announcers to be there.

I think it's their excuse but I don't think it's the reason. Times are tough for Disney (sarcasm) so they have to pinch their pennies where they can. I hate the remote announcers. It takes a lot from the game.

And don't lose to Mizzou. It's really our last chance for a bad loss.

I’d agree and with tonight’s road W, I think we’re a full seed in that case - no First Four. We’d be 19-12 with wins over at least 4 tourney teams and 0 bad losses. That’s way better than anyone else on the bubble will be. Those conversations are typically between teams with 2-3 good wins and a couple bad losses on the resume.

Nope, it's money. Fox and ESPN are even having guys call games from home even when home is in the same city as the game. Even the announcers this happens to think it's ridiculous.

Oh definitely. I'm not sure it's ideal for him to take the second most shots on the team, but when I think about it, almost everyone else is really timid at times and I'm not sure who else should be taking them. I really do like it when he attacks the basket more often, because even just showing your a threat to do it will give you more space to shoot next time.

I think 6-12 is the floor for us to get in, between the strength of the Big 12 and our stellar non-con.

I wondered about that tonight. At least one of the 6 would need to be Baylor or KU and even then I think we're sweating on selection Sunday. I think 7-11 is almost a lock especially if we add Mizzou.

But the number of Quad 1 wins we have will provide us a little buffer. Any win you get in this league is going to be good.

Look at tonight. OSU isn’t the best team in the B12, but it’s still a Q1 road win.

And we already have two very good wins against TT and Texas.
