I kind of think George should keep coming off the bench no matter how he's playing in comparison to Jones. He seems to play with more energy when he comes off the bench. It often seemed that way under Prohm as well.
If I’m TJ I keep it open. Whoever earns it in practice and games gets to start. keeps both the guys motivated. And keep swaping based on performance.

Only had two fouls too I think.

Maybe pressure is off and there's less thinking.

Gabe's shot has got to be in his head..He has games like Memphis, Kansas, and Texas then he can't hit a point blank layup on other nights. I just keep hoping our guards all start putting it together in the same game

The offense wasn't always smooth but it may have been the best we moved it around for an entire game. There were only a couple shot's I'd consider "bad", not a ton of shots early in the clock and had lots of assists.
Exactly this. Even though they've been playing against great defenses, the past few games prior to tonight the Cyclones weren't really working to get good looks on offense very often. Tonight they hit some more shots which helps, but they also worked harder to get those looks than, say, Saturday against TCU. There were times it wasn't pretty, but that's to be expected when you have one, maybe two consistent shooters and one, maybe two guys who can dribble drive. Overall feeling a lot more hopeful seeing this effort tonight following the TCU game.

You can’t convince me that this is what the Big 12 signed up for. ESPN has to do better.

Yea production was bad. More than a couple times there was play on the court and the camera selection was a coach on the sideline or crowd picture.

I think not having the announcers at the game is a Covid deal. At least it better be. FOX has found a way to have announcers at Big10 games. If that is because Big10 game announcers can drive vs. fly to games. Then OK.

But seems if fans can be in the stands, shouldn't be an issue for announcers to be there.

Sadly, Gallagher Arena is a funeral home until the last 5 minutes of regulation. Hilton would never be like that.

Gabe's mechanics are wildly different shot to shot, pay attention to the differing arc he puts on his shot and you'll see there's not a lot of consistency. Now, I do think he'll have a couple more "on" games which really raises the ceiling for this team, but I'm not convinced it's a head thing so much as a form thing.

You do have a point about the missed bunnies, though.
