Some of you ******** need to check out of Cyclone athletics. Did we have a poor 2nd half? Sure. But where was the praise from you fuckheads when we were up 11 in the 1st half? Brickington? GTFO with that ****. He couldn't miss in the first half.
It is that bad you don't have a real response to his criticism?

You all know that was one of the best offensive fg% teams in the NCAAand Porter got Loyola deep in the ncaas because of that right? Sometimes good o at home happens. We are 13-2 with 5 quality wins this season. Let them learn and grow before you quit on them. This was a team picked for tenth in the league for a reason, only so many adjustments available. They deserve our support now more than ever. I’m not saying don’t analyze and criticize, but at the end of the day support these over-achievers.

No, Cortes was hitting cutters for buckets in the lane and they were getting good looks when shooting jumpers. Their shot selection, movement without the ball and passing was very good to close out the game.

They were very good at getting to the lane early and often and then went back to it.

ISU was scrambling to start and late.

they were down 10 with a+12 ft disparity. Their offense was dog*** for 30 minutes.

When you’re behind by 10 with +12 fts you aren’t lighting the world up.

maybe lose by 6? Who cares. It’s a called a road game the last 100 years of college basketball. Home teams and blue bloods always have and always will get calls.

ISU didn’t deserve to win at all. And maybe people aren’t saying that but when half the posts are whining about the officiating, it sure seems like people thought it was a big deal.

Run an actual offense, hit cutters like OU does, probably going to draw fouls. D around and take pull up jumpers from 20’, you probably won’t.

Make terrible decisions on who gets minutes and you probably lose.
You not admitting the officiating was completely lopsided is simply being blind to the truth. There were two possession early in the first half where we "traveled" after getting totally subbed to the floor. They were obvious and they either missed it or just didn't call it.

Yeah, we stunk it up for 8 minutes, the officials sucked for 39. It does not mean that we were 100% the cause of the loss.

And let the meltdown begin.

I think an answer to a lot of the complaints for today's game is:

ISU out kicked their coverage early in the season, is limited and can't just snap their fingers and adjust.

They're getting worn down. That last 10 minutes was exactly that.
Certainly hope there isn't a meltdown. Don't think out kick is quite accurate. They earned those wins.

Feel like we need to have a little better feel on controlling flow when we can't get a bucket.

Love IZB, but don't live pull up 18 ft jumpers as our designed play out of a timeout when we need a bucket. The backdoor with Hunter in 1st was outstanding play though.

They need to rest and regroup. Still very proud of this squad. First half was phenomenal.

I think we can see by today’s results across the Big 12 that a win on the road is a bonus. Would have been a great one to get and we really should have been able to take control when up by 11 but this loss really didn’t change our outlook for making the tourney. If we get in as an eleven seed, this season should still be looked at as a success.

We were talking about the last 10 mins. In which case their offense was very good and efficient, probably helped by fatigue on ISUs part.
