Love watching all the hall of fame coaches on the Memphis sideline pacing around trying to figure out our defense.
I hate when we get multiple #1 recruiting classes but no point guards. That is a heavy burden to carry.

I get that Memphis is ranked #9, and ISU was not expected to factor into anything this year, so it's not at all shocking they would focus to some degree on Memphis, but seriously, it might as well be a Memphis broadcast, ISU's performance just doesn't matter at all.
EDIT: And to be clear, I'm referencing the halftime talking heads, not the in-game broadcast.

To give some more love to Green, watching our defense reminds me of those frustrating games we had against UNI over the years.

Intensity is top-notch on defense. If Otz can find a way to manage the press and get more offensive efficiency, we're golden.
From watching Memphis Wednesday night and again tonight, they play undisciplined. Keep the intensity on defense, make Memphis to force shots and passes and I believe the Clones will leave with a win.
When is Memphis going to develope this chemistry everyone, even the half time guys are talking about. Next year, in the NBA? How about ISU is a darn good defensive team?

The great thing about our defense is it's incredibly difficult for the other teams to put together serious runs on us. Right now, we're the type of team where it's difficult to play catch up on. A 10 point deficit can feel like a 20 point deficit. Very much like the really good UNI teams of the past. Very frustrating for the opponent.
I have a feeling we're going to see Memphis get incredibly frustrated in the second half. At least I hope so.
