So, you think this is KSU telling KU that they’d better not be negotiating with anybody yet?

I read this as neither University can make a decision moving forward without the BOR input...Kstate has zero shot at the BIG...zero. Heck KSU really doesnt have shot at PAC IMO either...I definitely read this as BOR trying to protect KSU..

our only leverage left is we and a whole ton of other teams exit the system, force them to play themselves, we dont need these people to pay the bills, we go to google, yeah budgets are coming down at first, and then people discover the chaos of it all, and slowly build the brand, maybe cmc goes, maybe he doesnt, know one knows for sure

Like maybe UofI does us the way OU did OSU

I dont get the impression there's the hate for ISU at the administrative level the way there is at the fan level. Administrators calling the shots would see the benefit of ISU being in the same conference, the costs of ISU being knocked down, and the political pressure on top of that.

If Iowa was in the big 12, sure they'd probably be willing to leave us too, but I somehow don't see them being the hurdle for a b10 invite.

cmc said he wants to do something, i say we ask him what he thinks and see how far he is willing to go, and boy oh boy that would erk the hell out of them if he stayed and we went decentralized

I don't even think it's at the "rational fan" level - it's squarely at the tavern hok level.
