All big 12 teams have come out with an official statement from their athletic departments; except Kansas and ISU

Combine this with the Big 10's silence (with the exception of reiterating the importance of AAU membership) and denial about interest in anybody - and well, at least I hope this means we're playing the game better than Missouri did a decade ago.

No one “wants this.” maybe half the posters on this site will be blindsided if we don’t get in the B1G because they have convinced themselves it’s a sure thing. Sad honestly.

Sorry, not saying YOU specifically...just if anyone thinks that's what ISU is going toward, and is OK with it, get ready for everything we know right now to be gone.

Kansas Regents came out with a statement.

Whoa! lol...This says Kstate knows exactly what their options are and it isnt good for KSU.. It also says that Kansas BOR wants to try to leverage KU/KSU to BIG or whoever as a duo..

It does strongly imply that one or both universities will be entering negotiations for new conference allegiance (no Big XII?). The BOR will release it to the public when they do begin negotiating.

After reading the KSU statement I"m pretty sure KSU got on the horn with the BOR and told the BOR to help them so KU doesnt leave without them..

time for scorched earth folks

merge G whatever and fcs, tokenize the system, set up for maximum chaos, exit the old system completely, what do they do when they only have themselves to play, and then you wait, you wait for the trend to change back in your favor and you believe, and it will change, give it 10 years and i strongly believe the trend could do a 180, and with demographic shifts that i believe very strongly will happen, college football should survive what is coming, because it really can be a cool thing, to a point though, dont ever assume the reality today will be the reality tomorrow and especially 10 years from now, have some guts Jamie and hire Bill Snyder as your first commissioner of Wild Country Collegiate National Conference.
