So let's be clear while you are saying TJ is much superior to CSP.
17-15/12-6 2nd place in the Mountain West with Menzies players means TJ can coach
24-11/12-6 T2nd place in the Big 12 with Fred's players means CSP sucks
You know at least CW admits he could never cover TJ objectively because of personal reasons. You are the many who cannot talk about the guy without a twinkle in their eye.
Hate to say it but the guy mirrors Prohm in more ways than you know. He has yet to build ANYTHING on his own. Be it behind Nagy or Menzies. And people are seriously considering that as an alternative? If true.......it's like someone else posted......a frat.
UNLV by their statement when releasing Menzies isn't going to put up with being just "good" for very long. Being a nice guy and "hey, I can recruit" means **** down there. That is why like I have said in previous posts......JP is more than likely going to bail out his friend, get him away from what's coming at UNLV and get him into a situation where he is comfortable with little to zero expectations the first few seasons. So fear not......you and most will probably get their wish.
Does it seem like the white knights who were always coming to the defense of Steve, calling us terrible fans for pointing out he was a bad coach, saying we never gave him a chance, are the ones who are already not giving TJ a chance? Crazy how deep they are dug in for the worst coach we've ever had.
I think it’s mostly people that bashed prohm that are bashing TJ.

Guys, there are more than Mountain West coaches to look at.
24-11/12-6 T2nd Place with THAT Team? I consider that team to have underachieved really. I was hoping for more. 11 Losses with that group of Players? Not good.
I consider TJ to be one of many qualified candidates. I will support any of the Coaches that JP chooses. I just think that you can’t just totally disregard TJ as a viable replacement. TJ is one of many.
Can you admit that you are biased AGAINST TJ?
I recall defending him early on as he was overall doing fine vs. the history of ISU basketball...but then the little things that were questionable (weird time outs, disorganization in key moments, WEIRD losses etc.) became predictable and really the last 3 seasons showed where things really are/were despite 3 days in KC in 2019.
I'll be in 'wait and see' mode for any coach as even big names will still have several uphill challenges coaching at ISU.
