am I the only one who's just not excited about 2022 recruits from FL, SC, or TN??

our chances of landing these kids (esp top 50 talent that would be game changers for us) against legit competition in those geographies is just so slim.

I know this is not a new strategy, but focusing on these states will never not seem strange to me.
We’ve offered a lot from midwest for 2022, but yes we have offered a lot from Florida.

Iowa State: “Coach Prohm has always been in contact just checking up on me. I've only done one zoom call with him but it was for a while and we went over the offense and all that. Coach Prohm is really cool and I've built a really good relationship with him, just small talk with him all the time. Coach Prohm likes to let their players do them obviously and they produce great guards over time so it shows he's great with his guard work. Their offense also runs through their guards so we went over that and how I would fit into it. I fit into it because I'm a fast player who likes to get out and go and I'm a guard who likes to score. A lot of Iowa State guards have been scorers. I'll definitely like to visit them.”

Going to be very difficult to recruit for '22 coming off two really bad seasons. Probably have the best chance with midwest guys like Trimble.

I will say that despite very very uncertain job status and not being able to use our best recruiting asset (Hilton) Prohm has appeared to put us in position to have a really good class in 2022.

I really think it’s odd this thread is still going.

why? ISU going to stop recruiting 2022 players? Program shutting down?

You think a new staff with ties to different parts of the country are just going to pick up where this one left off, and recruit the same kids?

i mean I suppose we could start investigating who unlv is recruiting
