I have four Cyclone fans, one hawk fan iteration that I don't even remember and Tuco (jayhawk fan) when he actually was Tuco. One of the Cyclone fans I don't think posts anymore. Another I blocked because she managed to turn every thread into a jilted lover thread about our former BB coach. Another one is an asshat that is probably one of the most common non-cave posters on ignore lists out there. I have tried to not use the ignore button much because I don't want to just hear points of view that are congruent with mine but some people are just too much.
Yeah for me it's a mix of bigots, people who I find incapable of contributing anything of value, ********, trolls, and one poster who makes fine points but very post is a treatise and I'd prefer to not have to scroll past every one of his posts.

So I just looked and I have 58 people on ignore, which is definitely more than I thought. I'll need to go and see how many are still active

I've got 30 and several, like that **** jayhawk fan, are on the list a couple of times. My list would probably be in the 50's if every Covid-19 thread didn't get caved immediately.

I wonder if I am on any ignore lists? What kind of an ******* would put Snoopy on ignore?

At one time there were three business in the Runway complex - the Runway, the Rain Forest, and Master Jack's. Kinda like one-stop shopping. I tended bar at the first two for a couple years. Really liked working in the Rain Forest, it was a very upscale place.
I do remember Rain Forest. I just don't remember Master Jack's.

^Reminds me of something else. It's kinda disturbing when someone you have on ignore because they are a despicable excuse for a human being and they react with an agree or like to your post.
Yeah. I don't have Argent on ignore, but it always gives me pause when I happen to agree with him on an issue. Luckily it very rarely happens.

Our building finally solved its age-old Internet problem.
Forever ago, when this one guy bought the building, a swindler set him up with this Internet package where everything ran through our apartment, instead of hookups in each apartment. It created troubles and confusion for years for a bunch of reasons (mostly tied to the swindler dude setting up something only he would bother to track).

So, this guy finally decided to sell the building entirely. In the process, he decided that cable and internet just weren't part of the lease anymore. As Mediacom worked that through, they moved the cable bill to our name.
It's important to note here that nobody gave us any notice of any of this. We just sat here and said "whoa, that bill jumped."

Solution: cut the cord, buy our own Internet service (and still through Mediacom because awesome).
Good news: Fastest Internet we've ever had. Simple connection to trace. Just cable to modem to router. And only one remote.
Bad news: That's one expensive surprise.

Two days ago I checked our Mediacom account to verify what our size plan is and find that we've used 61% of our data plan in the first six days of this month. What??? Checked our wifi system and find a device we don't recognize and can't figure out what it is, so put it on pause. That's all I could do. Check again a couple of hours later and that device is gone. Changed our wifi password, but as of today we've used nearly three-fourths of our monthly data and still have 23 days to go. Thank goodness Mediacom is allowing overages through the end of this year.

We've had months were they said we used 1.4 Tears of data and the next was like 0.2 tears. I had upped us to 2 Tears when we cut cable, but it didn't seem to change much.

@Cyclones_R_GR8 , do you suppose we should fire up the traditional **** Iowa thread during what would have been Hate Week if the scurvy hawks hadn't decided to duck us this year?
I'm always up for a **** Iowa thread. The hard part is thinking up some new and creative ways to say it.

Your list sounds a lot like mine, including the last poster. I've taken a few off, and there's a bunch that are ancient alts no longer in use.

I just went through and unignored (as CF says) probably half the people there a few minutes ago. Most were hawk trolls that I don't if they post anymore.
