Wierd how Reynolds won't be going to church in person or to a farmers market this weekend and Grassley won't be dining out.

Surprised by Grassley's comments. After this time at home, I thought for sure he'd be ready to head over to the Windsor Heights DQ for you know what.

Nice slight of hand but that is not the graph discussed. Way to try and cherry pick NYC data though, which we've already shown/discussed had different problems. Likely related to the treatment received by the people who are supposed to be helping the patients. I will counter your cherry picked data with that from every state. With excluding just New York the Deaths per million in the US would be just 10 per 100,000.

Death rate isn't the only metric. If we have something that has a 100% death rate but only kills a handful of people per year, its not going to get that much attention. When we are potentially talking 100 million to 200 million infections, even a 0.1% death rate is disastrous. How is that so hard to understand?

More good news:

RNA testing sensitivity is what has given the impression the COVID virus could reactivate or reinfect people who have already had it. But this is apparently not the case.

Dude, I totally posted this yesterday. Get with the program. :)

No, but it's good news...you'd think if it reinfected there'd be an even bigger problem.

People understand it, they're just too callus.

Whether one agrees or disagrees with how she plans to reopen, it's refreshing to see a plan that steps through the different phases.

I just realized the picture I added didn't come in.

Haha, having the executive vice president of the Family Leader on today's press conference?

Yeah apparently part of the separation of church and state is turning the state press conference over to a religious organization. Ridiculous.

Ironically appropriate that she announced the new daily high for confirmed cases on the day the state opened, then immediately turned the press conference over to a prayer session.

Hell, turn it over to an actual faith leader as opposed to the spokesman for a PAC that stands for some of the most conservative and discriminatory stances in the state.
