So, guessing you got a couple Costco's in Iowa?

Thought this was sort of a big deal. Some businesses doing more than some gov units. Interesting.

Starting Monday, it's no mask, no Costco

Businesses have been going farther than the government most of the way, tbh.

Its why those assuming that we can just 'open things up' are wrong. People are still going to stay in. Traffic is still going to be down, often to levels well below profit levels. But because things are technically 'open' it gives them an excuse when people start pushing for another round of help for businesses and individuals.

That's what all this reopen push is really about. Cuittng off the government safety net right when it is most needed.

If you’re 6” and over 220, unless you’re built like an NFL LB, that is obese. Just because it’s common these days doesn’t mean it’s a healthy weight.

So your saying if I’m 6” and over 220 and built like an Iowa quarterback I’m ******?

Yep and Costco has had a very efficient system within their stores. Was there last week, there was a line outside. Employee came out, told us all about the process for getting people in, just wait a bit longer etc.

Place was stocked just fine with most anything I looked for including 4 packs of lysol cans.

Most customers if not all had their face covered in some capacity so this won't change much. Other companies would be smart to do the same.

I was curious. Calories in a 89 oz mountain dew = 1275. Calories burned walking a golf course = 800-900. So you're burning more and taking in a lot less.

With easy access to the freezer and microwave I've been eating worse. Where I'd normally pack a sandwich for lunch I'm now having frozen pizzas and burritos.

Lol... dude, going from 89 oz of Mt. Dew to 12 0z is cutting like 1000 calories a day. Given you need to cut 3500 calories to lose 1 lb you would lose close to a pound every 3 days just by making that change.

The 89 oz Mtn Dew was sarcastic, the daily morning visit to the gas station was not. I would usually get a 32 oz unless it wasn't available in which case I got the 44.

How does BMI work for someone who can’t gain weight to save their life? Asking for a friend

From somebody who used to have that problem, there are a lot of things you could do.

-Turn 32 years old
-go buy some bags of doritos and smoke some pot
-get a wife or long term girlfriend (maybe have a kid)
-drink a few ipas every night

That got me from a sickly 25 to a robust 28 in a few years ;)

So anyone discussing the actual data given by the California doctors? Or do we only allow Youtube videos around here? This thing is proving to be less deadly than the flu. Excellent. Be happy and lets move on.
