Had to make a Home Depot run today, in and out to grab some stain killing primer. I was the only person I saw wearing a mask and had to practically rub shoulders with half a dozen employees just standing in the way in from of the checkouts. Just standing there bullshitting. JFC at least stand back out of the ******* way. Same thing when I was walking down the isle, had trouble keeping distance from the employees who were just milling around everywhere. Worse I had to use a hand-scanner. Was kinda hoping they had a built-in scanner but nope.

Speaking of primer, have you heard of amazon prime? Maybe you should stop bashing those putting their life on the line for you to buy your stain primer if you think it’s really that serious. How dare they!! And omg, a hand scanner!! I hope you survive this. Would hate for you to die over stain killing primer.

This is the lack of self awareness I can’t stand. Maybe we should just shut Home Depot down and put another 100k people out of a job so you don’t have to put your life on the line like that.

My wife had a persistent cough last month but they didn't think she needed testing at that time (plus tests were not readily available). She is over the cough, but had to take medications to help. I'm curious if she might have had it and didn't get diagnosed.

Maybe she'll pass the antibody test and you'll be married to an immune super being.

This is a Fantastic post!!! We cant be living in fear! I understand the need to take precautions, but judging people for not wearing mask is just not needed. Let people live their lives.

New in what respect? It has been fairly well reported that pneumonia is what over takes your lungs and kills off.
Did you read it?

Even patients without respiratory complaints had Covid pneumonia. The patient stabbed in the shoulder, whom we X-rayed because we worried he had a collapsed lung, actually had Covid pneumonia. In patients on whom we did CT scans because they were injured in falls, we coincidentally found Covid pneumonia. Elderly patients who had passed out for unknown reasons and a number of diabetic patients were found to have it.

And here is what really surprised us: These patients did not report any sensation of breathing problems, even though their chest X-rays showed diffuse pneumonia and their oxygen was below normal. How could this be?

We are just beginning to recognize that Covid pneumonia initially causes a form of oxygen deprivation we call “silent hypoxia” — “silent” because of its insidious, hard-to-detect nature.

My mistake, I read and came to a large ad that I thought was then\ end. The story seemed like it could end there, but I didn't go far enough.
I’m anxious to see if this is corroborated, stealth pneumonia is a freaky sounding thing.

It makes a lot of sense given some past reporting of how quick it seems to move from someone showing up to the hospital to them being on a ventilator- due to this not showing other symptoms, some patients are quite far along before they get to that point.

Also seems problematic with how many people with symptoms have been told just to self-quarantine, given they may not have the ability at home to monitor their oxygen levels and could be getting quite a bit worse- and thus end up waiting until too late to go to the hospital
