Positive cases are going to sky rocket now. More tests. More cases. Hope everybody doesn't **** their pants over this. I'm guessing one out of three people on this board is either infected right now, or has already had it.

1 in 3 is awfully high, even when looking at the serological testing showing many more people have had it than thought. 1 in 7 in Germany had it and 1 in 25 in LA County. Not sure what it was in Santa Clara, I would expect the rate to be higher in those places that on this forum, with most of the posters here living in Iowa.

I don't know if I'd go that high, but I could see 4-5% already having it, or currently have it. That would be around 150,000.

My wife had a persistent cough last month but they didn't think she needed testing at that time (plus tests were not readily available). She is over the cough, but had to take medications to help. I'm curious if she might have had it and didn't get diagnosed.

The question about consuming too much alcohol was a real brain buster for me...

Santa Clara estimated that the amount who had it or have it was anywhere from 50-85 times what's confirmed iirc.

So going by Iowa's confirmed cases, 3,641, that'd be 182,000-309,000.

Well before the Tyson’s outbreaks the percentage of those tested that were positive were consistently 10%

I doubt we have the same infection rate as the coasts. They likely had widespread community spread well before we did here in Iowa.

I’m kind of curious about these post office outbreaks. Those seem to be hush hush around here for the media. My local post office had a breakout of 5 employees in the past week or so. Only God knows how many more were infected.

Cause they touching your mail, LOL.

Isn't it strange they still make envelopes that you have to lick if you don't have a glue stick or tape?
