@HawkJRP It's actually quite baffling you marked this as funny considering Steve has done more at Iowa State in 5 years than Fran has at Iowa in 10.

They won the Big Tens two years in a row prior to him coming on board and he's won one in a decade
He has Fred to thank for that.
He is 45-39 (15-27) since Fred's nucleus of players have been gone.
Fran never lost to Florida A & M at home so thats something that Prohm has done that Fran hasnt.
Seems similar to Prohm. Did good until he got his own guys in and now has one Big Ten championship in the last decade
If you want to compare Fran's teams in years 1 and 2 of his tenure at Iowa with Prohm's year 5 team at ISU then go ahead.
Fran lost to a Division 2 team at home lol it just didn't show up on his record because it was an exhibition game. Kentucky lost at home to Evansville who is now 9-10.
That game was terrible but saying Steve is worse because he lost that game is just dumb lol.
Steve and Fran have the same number of NCAA tournament wins despite Steve being at Iowa State 5 years less. Steve also has 2 Big 12 Tournament Titles while I believe Fran has 3 total wins in the Big 10 conference tournament.
We could also talk about the number of players Steve has put into the league compared to Fran but that conversation would be incredibly quick and pointless.

Brands brought his own guys in and won three national championships. Should have won four if not for Virginia Tech being petty.
Yeah Prohm brought in his own guys too but since he had Fred's guys he doesn't get credit for those wins just like Brands shouldn't.
