Who got the ball to start? I'm one too deep to remember.

This next half is on the coaches. We obviously have the horses (save special teams). Have to put the players in a spot where they can make plays.

This game reminds of Iowa State and Texas in 2017, Iowa State D was good enough but Iowa State's O lost the game at the end.

Did Baylor really have tents on their sidelines in the first half, but we weren't allowed to? I find that really hard to believe.

Does ISU bring their own mister fans? I would hope so.

Sounds like Baylor's team will go into freezer trucks at the half to bring down their core temperature. What a bunch of p***ies. I hope we trounce them this 2nd half.

Baylor's appear to be built into their bench so they sit lower. The one tent that ISU still has looks high enough to block the view from the stands. I guess I understand not allowing the high tents, but I would have thought the benches should have been the same.

Because it doesn't work, due to not being able to trust the running backs. They are not good.
Really? It appears to me that we average at least 5 ypc when we run the ball out of that set.
Need to do something as we have no continuity on O.
D playing great once again.

Repeating but it was similar last year at TCU and really a host of other losses.

Not the end of the world today if it's a loss but I was hoping for a 3-1 start. Still time to find some things....just as long as it doesn't come down to a field goal.

Still don’t think it’s home cooking, but these refs are absolutely ******* awful. Like, embarrassingly. On Baylor’s TD, the wide receiver just shoved our guy to the ground almost.

I’ve seen enough of Croney to confidently say we need to move on from that experiment.

Still 7-0. Our defense hasn’t been bad, but I also don’t think they’ve been good as they’re getting credit for. A lot of ended drives on Baylor drops, and they finally stopped dropping it on the last drive.

Still don’t feel like it’s over with. Just like us hurting from losing Monty and Butler, Hurd absolutely whipped is around last year and he’s gone. Had this game marked as an L, but still feel we can pull it off going into the second half. Probably gonna need a pick 6 to do it though.

In over 40 years as a Cyclone fan I can’t recall the last time we performed so poorly considering the talent we have.

We finally have a defense, and we can’t score a dang touchdown.

Lack of focus, no urgency, and copious mistakes.

We might want to consider changing this years slogan to: #Loseit

If the game was still 0-0 at halftime, ISU obviously has a shot oi win. Being down at halftime, there's nothing this offense has shown me that makes me believe they will win.
