I proved you can survive for a week on Gatorade and cookies. Just ate a slim Jim for the first time in a decade. I feel ill I think it was pure fat.
Ibuprofen and a glass of wine - no big deal. Ibuprofen and a bottle of wine - no bueno for the kidneys.Rhode bike 20 miles today and posting just to needle NWICY some. Went pretty well for only a third ride and weeks after the second. Was starting to think my left knee might not like it much, but it went okay, stairs, not so much. Big hills might not be good either. Stayed in low gears for the most part.
Took a bunch of ibuprofen washed down with red wine. And why won't I?
P.S. I like how you hearkened back to Paul Rhoads (Rhodes? Roads? Rodes?) spelling battles in this post. Subtle; I like it.

I had a high school buddy, Gene. When I wanted to piss him off I would call him Gene, Gene the Dancing Machine. He was built a lot like the Gong Show character and he didn't appreciate the moniker much.

There are people that are just pissed off. I don't like how they just rushed through everything this season just to get it over but it's not ruining my week. I'll watch next week just so it's over. The same guy I was talking to about The Gong Show was talking about breaking up the realm and who'll be in charge of what kingdom and I just said they aren't going to have time to go through all of that.
It will probably just go black like the Sopranos.

I was getting the highlights of this season and I asked, so when they're done who will actually be alive for them to rule? It doesn't sound like many.
And don't forget if you don't agree with them your wrong and they need to let you know your wrong. I'm not a huge fan of the direction it's going, but when it comes down to it, it's a TV show. It's 90 minutes of your life. Not a huge deal.

I tried to lighten the mood a bit yesterday, but the negativity has been slowly creeping back in there. One guy has been a broken record.
There was a really good post about an alternate ending to the past two episodes that was interesting, though.
So I got on Facebook late last night and was a post from my best friend. His mom had an oncology appointment yesterday and found out she has cancer in bladder, kidney and bones.

Asking people to respect the spoiler function didn't work, so I abandoned the thread. That disappoints me because I love talking about what happened in an episode; so many times people spot things that I didn't. And if I have to avoid spoilers, I lose that too.

I'm sorry to hear that, Rulzzz...please tell your friend we hope for the best for his mother. Our closest friend is currently in the same battle...bladder, metastatic to his liver. It's a really really tough battle. My sympathies to your friend.

One positive note. My daughter has repeatedly said "These are too short" before I get a chance to say it.
Those are the ones she's taking a photo of in the changing room, to come back and get with her friends later.
