I think my happy thing to hear was that both of the Petersons are up to 255. Boom!

How does he feel about "losing" Will McD?
I wonder what the real reason is behind him switching to LB. Because he's a better LB? Because we're thin there? Because we're loaded at DE? Probably a combination of some things

Because he’s “only” 230 or so? Because, like the proverbial 500 lb gorilla, he’ll be great wherever he plays?
I wouldn’t say we’re “thin” at that spot, but unlike DE, there’s a starting spot up for grabs.

Because McDonald is a freak and you want him on the field as early and as much as possible. We have adequate to great players at DE already. Let McDonald play in space and blitz on the edge.
Overall imo in a short time ISU has improved in every aspect and position except maybe the Oline but the Dline has been great to watch. Should continue next year.

Will McD I envision as a Derrick Thomas kind of player on the edge. Very scary type of player for opposing offenses
IMO coach Rasheed is the hidden gem of our staff. Excellent coach, his guys love and respect him and bust their ass for him.
We have people comparing our nose guard to Reggie White, and now or outside LB to Derrick Thomas. All things point to yes.
McDonald has been referred to as the best recruit of the Campbell era (pure potential and talent not ranking). You've got to get your best players on the field. Bailey, Lima, and Uwazurike all likely play on Sunday. With McDonald, Rose, and Spears at LB (among others) that front 6/7 is loaded.

It will be interesting to see what and where he ends up playing. He is certainly a guy that the coaches have hyped a lot.
I think it was Woody in a FART episode that alluded that if he was able to make it work at the LB spot that would allow the defense to go into a 4 man front seemlessly.
