Since we already have several Romeo and Juliet references, I'll throw this one in the ring.
Exit Music (For a Film) - Radiohead
The "film" was 1996s Romeo + Juliet. Oddly enough the song didn't make the stellar soundtrack for the movie. The song itself is full of references to the play as well.
One of my favorite Radiohead songs because it starts so unassumingly, then builds to a wonderful climax.
