Of course, but we don't know the team. So it is not up to us to decide when it would be better for him to leave. Prohm knows.
Totally up to Prohm obviously and I never said Lard should be off the team immediately. At some point though, a coach has to make the tough decision to cut ties for the good of the entire team. If, IF Lard continues breaking rules and getting away with it, the leader of the team is no longer seen as a man who says what he means and means what he says. Eventually, he will lose the respect of individual players and before you know it, the entire team has zero respect for the coach. I trust that Prohm fully understands this and will make the right decision if and when he needs to.

Lard will probably end up being a very good player somewhere else

My point is him not making the trip could be for something very minor, like being late to practice. Fact is I don't know what he did to warrant it and I'm not making a judgement until I know what he did.

But per Tommy Birch and Matt Schultz he's still on the team.

I agree that it could be very minor. I'm saying that if he's dismissed because of that, I'm OK with it.

We don't even know what he did yet!!!

Was he late for a practice? Big deal, he'll be back.

Smoking again then yeah he'll be done.

But we do have a history of turning on our own, just see Royce White - most people turned on him because he stood for his beliefs even though it doesn't even have an impact on ISU.

We want our players to be like our children - be easy to love and to make good decisions. When we see those we love make bad decision after bad decision there is only so much love to give.

Yeah, but we love our kids unconditionally.

Strictly from a basketball standpoint Conditt has a higher ceiling than Lard. He's taller, he's faster, and he's quicker off the floor. He's 20# and a year's experience from being a major contributor. Not to mention he seems to have a connection with Foster.

That said I like Cam, when inspired his enthusiasm lifts the team. Hope for the best but feel ISU can handle the worse.

ISU basketball is not a Tony Robbins seminar.

If his history is important and he cannot live up to expectations then he should not have played one minute this season. Now an important part of the team is gone in crunch time. Just brilliant management by Prohm here.

Again - a courtesy flush please.
