If it does end up being minor, and he's still on the team, what do you think SP and the staff will do as a next step? Especially with a player like Cam who has had difficulty staying out of trouble.

Who knows? Maybe kicking him off is the best thing for him and the team. Maybe it's the best thing for only the team.

The point is---WE DON'T KNOW. None of us know Cam or his issues. None of us know what the best thing is.

What we do know is that Prohm has a history of holding his players accountable. Let's let him to that without assuming we are all experts.

It depends on what he did. I personally don't think being late to practice for example is "trouble", more not being responsible.

Good riddance to him next year, tbh

After everything that’s gone on, and how Prohm has gone out of his way to help shape him. He still thinks it’s alright to show up to practice late, give terrible effort, walk out and quit when he was told he had running to do for being late. He just doesn’t learn.
So he pulled an Iverson?

And it seems like most of the time, late for practice means not starting or playing a half. If he did storm out of practice after being told to run, it makes perfect sense to leave him home for the day.

Whether it results in a bigger punishment probably depends on how the rest of the year has gone.

Honestly if it was from being late to practice I don’t see why he still wouldn’t have traveled and just not suited up. I really doubt it was something that minor.

The speculation was that he was told to run after being late and got pissed and left practice. If it was that, he absolutely stays home.

It's been a whiplash with Lard - back and forth over the last year or so. He sucks, he's a hero, he's selfish, he's a team guy, he's a 1st round draft pick, he's a failed person...

It sucks because after the beginning of season suspension it seemed like things were going in the right direction. Gradually earning more PT, seemed more engaged with his team, etc. Hoping this is just a minor setback and nothing more; really want to see Cam succeed here and be in Ames for his senior year.

He doesn’t have a long leash to be irresponsible, for good reason too. So you’re just getting into semantics because you want to excuse his behavior.

No I'm waiting to find out what he did.

I've been around enough people who have been late to practices (habitually) to understand that doesn't make them a trouble maker but irresponsible. So you can call it semantics but I call it being real.
